UNREAL PROGRAMMMER

Big Moxi Games is scaling its programmer team to support the development of internal and external projects with a large global publisher. We are seeking passionate programmers with 2+ years of experience on Unreal Engine (blueprints and C++) to join us in creating awesome games for PC and consoles.

Responsabilities:

  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop, debug, and maintain game systems using Unreal Engine 5.

  • Partner with engineers at multiple levels and the networking team to ensure large-scale performance optimization.

  • Create and document complex systems clearly, including technical design documents and code references.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in multiplayer game development, preferably with Unreal Engine.

  • Strong proficiency in C++.

  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and Perforce.

  • Positive, collaborative, and self-motivated attitude, effective in team environments.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex processes.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across different disciplines including design, art, and production.

Pluses:

  • Experience in AAA game development.

  • Experience with the Gameplay Ability System (GAS).

  • A portfolio showcasing attention to detail and high-quality, maintainable code.

  • Experience in profiling and optimizing applications for bandwidth and CPU usage.

  • Proven ability and willingness to mentor other engineers.
