3D Character Artist
Big Moxi Games is expanding its art team to drive the development of external and internal projects in collaboration with a major global publisher. We are looking for talented artists who bring a wealth of experience and a passion for crafting exceptional 3D Characters for our games.
Responsibilities:
Sculpt and model high-quality characters and props, with subsequent retopology. From the initial stages to final in-game delivery.
Develop highly polished PBR textures, considering materials, micro-details, and fidelity to art direction.
Interpret visual concepts, artistic guidelines, and references, translating them into solid and functional visual solutions.
Collaborate closely with riggers, animators, and tech artists, ensuring technical and artistic integration in the production pipeline.
Required Skills:
A robust portfolio demonstrating excellence in character creation.
Solid knowledge of the fundamentals of art: form, anatomy, silhouette, and visual language.
Proficiency in tools such as ZBrush, Maya, or Blender, Substance Painter, and engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity.
Technical rigor in building meshes, UVs, and baking maps.
Collaborative mindset and the ability to receive and apply feedback accurately.
Constantly updated with new technologies, trends, and tools in the 3D development market.
Nice to Have:
Experience with integration workflow with MetaHuman and MetaPipe.
